FOR SALE - W126 Bosch Euro headlight assemblies

I have a pair of Bosch Euro headlamps. They were removed from a car that was imported to the states. These are low mileage assemblies. The car was used on vacation and then shipped to the states. The glass and housings are in perfect condition. The bulbs are included, but I am not sure if they are good. P/N's are 126-820-8961 and 126-820-9061. Make me an offer, buyer pays shipping from 97229. Picture are available upon request.

give me a couple of e-bay item numbers where bosch euro's go for $100.00 , i'll go into the lighting business.

[imo] tigger might be a bit high, but they're his lights.

tigger welcome to mercedes shop!

FWIW, the ones I see on ebay usually go for $300 and up. The lowest price I saw was $270. There's always a set available.

126 headlights on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=600888285&r=0&t=0

here you go, your price is way too high, I got mine for $100 shipped, in mint condition, just because its a mercedes doesn't mean you can ask the high prices, its just another piece of metal, nothing special about it, especially one that is 20 years old, such as the 126, hope you do sell them for $500.00 waste of money for the fool who buys them

if they are his lights why doesn't he just keep them, must be some reason why he wants to sell them, probably because they won't pass inspection, or maybe new people on MercedesShop think they can jack other people, you hill billy's and west coast people need a reality check, you all need to come upstate, I see people with those 126 Euro's all the time in the city, they go for $100

actually I would be willing to pay $500, if you have the vacuum controlled adjustment switch that goes in the car, on my 500se I have the hole cut out for it but no swtich, without that, you are not really selling the complete Euro headlight system, because if it did come off a true Euro then that person would not need that switch, if the person kept it, then I know something is wrong with the headlights, some guy on MercedesShop was selling them for his 124 I believe, the 126 may be impossible to find unless you go through the dealer, also does anyone have a complete layout on the vacuum control system for the Euro lights, you all know what I'm talking about right?

Dude, what's your problem? I am not trying to jack anybody, I just want to sell my headlights. I took your input and change my price to best offer. I checked here around town. A new set goes for $500.00. I can't help it that they are cheaper in your neck of the woods.

grey500se

what's your deal? you need to have a reality check.

is this anyway to treat a new member here or anyone else?

i hope you're NOT planning a career in public relations.

on that e-bay link, there are 9 DAYS left, say again 9 DAYS LEFT!!

i guarantee you they won't sell for $ 100.00

euro lights without the vacuum adjuster are still WAY better than NO EURO'S at all!!

tigger- don't think these outbursts are the norm here, they aren't.

tigger-what kind of m.b. do you have?

read my name Grey 500se, that means i have a grey market 500se with military issue engine, I had to throw the engine away because I couldn't find parts for it, its a 116 962 engine but it has bigger pistons and bigger heads, its not a 560 or a 450, so I had to put a 116 961 which is a regular 380SE engine, engine was probably worth a lot of money, imported by Celius something something, it has the stamp on the door, and it is a 126

hey Grey500se

are you sure you really have a 500se?
because I dont think you know what your talking about!
The 126 chassis euro lights are worth an easy $300 (or more if in excellent condition)
And your car had a military engine?
who told you that?
then you threw the engine away because you couldn't find parts?
sounds like a personal problem!

thats what it says on my title, and the import stamp on the door, the military engine was told to me by a Mercedes expert at Brinson, I didn't believe it myself, until I tried to order parts for it, and all the parts were different, I could of got them, but they were a rip off, it was a lot cheaper to get a 116 961 motor and rebuild it, I'll see about those Euro's once they sell

Talking Vacuum Adjustment????

I have the Euro headlamps and they have a vacuum diaphragm inside. I don't get it where is the vacuum adjustment? I didn't get an owners manual with my 126. In fact I almost wrecked it looking for the cruize control that it doesn't have
