This kit includes a 4-speed manual transmission that looks and shifts outstanding, a shifter assembly **with the correct length shift rods for mating with a 5-cylinder** as well as the front section of the drive shaft for same. It also includes the correct cross member and exhaust bracket, hydraulic lines, pedal box, hydraulic cylinders, and rear mount.
There is NO cutting, welding, fabricating necessary when you do it this way. This is off of a 300D euro that came from the factory as a 4-speed.
The only things you'll need to convert from auto are a clutch kit, a speedo cable, and a flywheel. Clutch kit and speedo cable from any 240 manual should work, and someone on this board recently had a proper 617 flywheel for sale for $200 and as far as I know he still has it. Otherwise, a 240 flywheel will do.
I am in San Pedro, CA (Los Angeles South Bay) and prefer local pick-up. $500 takes the whole shebang.
