Red face W124 1994 E320 Suspension

Can anyone help me with the following
I am not concerned really with handle although I am looking at 18 aftermarket wheels for my E320 Coupe, the question is how do I conteract the firm suspension that is introdcued by an rim that that is 18" my front suspwsensio is a little loose at the moment and I am considering replacing the entire setup with Bilstei comfort shocks new bump stops ad struts but am unsure to which brand or type I should be looking at here in Australia we have some terrile roads and atn the car litterally hits a pophole with its standard 15" wheelsa dn crashes the suspension. I don't mind the softest suspension it can buy as going around corners at speed is not an issue and an i get a stiifer stabaliser bar softer shocks and struts to help offset the larger wheel diamitor and if so what do you guys reccomend.. with thanks - Marty

Marty, I recommend 2 things...
- Fresh rubber parts both front and rear. There are plenty of threads on the subject of old rubber bits messing up handling.
- Definitely new struts
- asking questions like this in one of the technical forums where guys smarter than me will chime in with advice.

Good luck with the car. All Mercedes were built to be driven. Enjoy yours.
