Radiator 1985 300D

I am looking for a radiator to replace the one I have.
Mine has stripped threads on one side of my ATF cooler.

so you need an oil cooler then? It's not all the same part. Are you leaking oil? Or leaking coolant?

Got this car a couple weeks ago.
Chasing problems to get it reliable.

ATF cooler threads are stripped and leak.
I currently put a band-aid on it. I have a fuel line over the threads on cooler and metal line with a clamp on each end.
Removed the flex line for now.

No leaks but not a permanent fix.

Might be hard to get. Those aluminium threads on the cooler seem to always strip. There is some way to try and repair them. One guy told me he kludged his with a load of jb weld. Good luck replacing it...
If you do try and get some old lines of an old cooler I've had success by using a pipe wrench backwards. That is so that as you turn it's not clamping onto the threads but the other way. Aluminium and steel really can get married together after 25+ years.
