Parting 617 Diesel
I have a 200k 617 that I'm parting out. The Low pressure oilpump appears to have failed or partial failed causing oil starvation of the cam bearings. Cam and cam towers are shot. Everything else seems to be in good order. The Front cam tower appers to have been getting oil. as when i broke the cam free the fron Bearing was intact. So I have Intake, exhaust manifolds, Injectors, glow plugs, Injection pump accessory brackets extra AC compressor and PS pump. no extra vacuum or lift pump. They were missing off the donor motor. I have a lift pump that need a check valve and it's good to go. I have an extra turbo and extra just about everything else that comes along with a Long block. I'm in the process of tearing down the block and pulling the head to see if there was any internal damage in an effort to determine if the SB is salvageable as well as the main head casting. Engine ran before pulled though very poorly. 3 or the 4 cam towers were cracked and the cam was not operating valves on the last 2 cylinders. Make offers or inquire for specifics. Thanks
