SEA Pick n Pull
I followed this thread on the W116 forum as well. How good are the seats (F&R) of the parchment car and the door panels (I assume this is an SE, not SEL. On a scale of 1 to ten.
If the seats are good, are you willing, for hire, to go get them along with a right hand exterior mirror?

The left rear door panel of the 450SEL was gone (but I know who has it). I would rate the door panels in both the 450SEL and 280SE as being 7 or 8. I could probably get seats, door panels, etc. but I know shipping will be spendy. I could probably fit the parts in several bicycle shipping boxes. Greyhound would be the least expensive option that I know of. I had a rear seat shipped to me from Texas through Greyhound and it still cost over $100, though. I can't imagine being able to ship the parts for less than a few hundred dollars due to the size--then again I could probably put stuff on a pallet and have it freighted--I've never done that before, though.

I may have one in my garage. I know I have a set but haven't come across them in a while. I will forage for them.
