FS~1998 sl 500 engine & parts in Pa.
long story short, a guy in my town bought this motor to replace the one in his sl 500. he stopped by my place and offered both motors to me. i have nothing to put them in so i'm selling them.
complete 60k mile 5.0L w/ intake. needs some misc. sensors but is mostly all there. plus the bad engine that has been sitting outside w/ one head off, broken chain, oil pan off....generally a mess but i'm sure there are some good bits left. i'd like to get $2500 for both but i'd also like to win the powerball and neither things looks like a lock at this point, so i'm accepting offers.

that price was kind of a jest, so don't be afraid to shoot me an offer for the motor or any aprts from the "other" one....i'm thinking of stripping the block and making a nice table like the one on 'top gear'
