WTB: OM603 Crankshaft Pulley Hub

Looking for the hub that mounts on the crank shaft that the pulley bolts to. I have a few, but they are on cars I still need to move before removing them. Anyone have an extra that's not scored up? Please let me know a price with shipping to zipcode 24523.

Thanks!

I believe hubs off of a M103, M104, OM602, and OM606 will interchange also.

Let me know your price with shipping. I'm debating on removing one off one of my other cars, but hopefully the car that needs it can wait to move until I can obtain one by mail.

I bought Benzguy's hub, but if anyone else has more, I may be interested. I've had these come loose now a few times. And sometimes I purchase them that way. So, I wouldnt mind a few extra.

So am I to understand that you have had one come loose from the crankshaft? That should never happen if it is torqued properly. I have at least 1 of those hubs, probably more. PM with email and zip for more details and shipping quote. Thanks, CF.

Mechanics at the dealer told me they saw this happen often with the original design of using 3 separate washers under the bolt. They tend to work loose at some point. The new updated design Mercedes uses now when you buy the bolt and washers is one solid conical spacer. Much better design. And yeah, I crank them down to 240Ft. Lb.s, with red locktite, so mine don't come loose once they are on. Hehe. PM me with a price with shipping to zipcode 24523. I'm always interested in picking up extras of them.

Wow, that is interesting. In 34 years in the biz, I have never seen this style come loose but I am sure it happens. Just when you thought you had seen it all on these cars, here comes something new. I guess when I fix my 124 wagon w/104 engine I will get the updated spacer. I think my front cover is warped because the crank shaft seal keeps popping out.

This is what the updated spacer looks like. I ordered another one from the dealer, around $13. I wish they had the $8 bolt, but the parts manager said it's on backorder in Germany. I guess I'll reuse the old bolt.
