wanted 16v 190e limited slip LSD carrier assembly

will pay fair price based on condition

just searched the site, tom w offered one recently at 650 in good used order [complete custom diff]
[had been rebuilt then autocrossed]

used unknown around 400 [wrecker 190e 16v 170,000 miles]

will consider anything, only need the LSD carrier itself [ contact petespipes at hotmail dot com ]

thankyou.Im in Australia but can purchase from wreckers etc that will only freight local USA so any "seen one here" tips are most welcome.

Just buy the diff with an ASD (+ rear part of the proppeler shaft and driveshafts) and you will get the limited slip diff.

Salut!

ASD

I am sorry I dont find your info useful.

I wish to purchase a 190e LSD centre as it can be used in conjunction with other parts to fit a LSD to a mercedes that never had LSD in the ratio I require.

I would like to keep this thread on topic please.

edit-Dr.S really knows his mercedes stuff [unlike me] and offers much useful comment online. If you are interested in ASD and its potential to provide a ON/OFF LSD I have seen relative info at superturbodiesel.com thread 597 "w201 and w124 ASD diff swaps" for tips to install ASD in non LSD car.personally I know close to zero about it.

I've been helping Pete in his limited slip quest and can testify that he is a peach to work with.

Good luck, Pete!

There's a guy in California, named Jeff, goes by "Catpruff" on boards who often parts 16v's. I think you can find him here or on BW or at the very least on EBay where he usually has something for sale. I've bought a couple of things from him, including a 16v prop shaft and he is a very good seller.

Mark is right.

I do get them from time to time.

This time is one of those times. I have a US spec 3.27 16V LSD rear diff. I am happy to ship to Aus and ship to the antipodes all the time.
