FS: W123 300TD 4-speed manual transmission swap. $600. Western NC.
4 speed manual transmission and all parts for swap pulled from a 1981 euro 300TD, yes a wagon. Plans changed and I sold the car I was keeping this for and don't see myself getting another W123.
Came out of a euro wagon that I got from a friend in non-running condition (there are some pics in my user gallery I believe). It was a car he drove for years and eventually let it sit because of engine problems. I acquired it to try to bring it back to life but the body was in pretty rough condition. I parted it out, mostly to keep the parts for a transmission swap. I mention this because I never actually drove with this set-up but I know he did for at least 5 years. At the time I tried to do enough research to make sure I got all the parts needed: transmission with all linkages, flywheel, I kept the clutch and all associated parts, driveshaft (taken apart and NOT marked well for re-assembly) and support, pedal assembly, master cylinder, shifter and probably some other items. Currently in storage but I will work on getting some pics. $600. In Asheville NC and I really don't like the idea of trying to ship.

Kind of surprised at the lack of interest, I thought everyone with a w123 wagon wanted a setup like this.
