85 16v fuel pump relay
man, those new relays are very pricey. two questions: 1) does anyone here have a used, working one they'd like to sell? 2) secondly, i have read that one can use an 8v fuel pump relay in the 16v, but i don't know if i just need to make sure the pin pattern is the same, and that it's for a 4 cylinder - or is it quite a bit more complicated than that? thanks a lot, randy

FPRs have a rev limiter.
An 8v relay will not allow the 16v engine to rev all tehe way out. |

thanks for your response neil. i never get close to revving my engine all the way out. i might hit 5200 on a reckless day, nothing more. so, does that mean i'd be ok running an 8v fpr in my car, or at least having that as a backup if i'm able to re-solder my original fpr? and would i need to make sure i get an 8v relay that has the identical 8-prong pattern as my 16v relay? thanks very much, randy

Look on 190rev or mercedes190.co.uk for someone selling a proper 16v FPR. |

Get a FPR from a Euro 16V.
Has the higher rev limit
