Hey Rich, you sure have very nice dash stuff there with you. Thanks for sharing the blessings to use. That $350 is sure worth it!

Well I dropped a sharp item on this beautiful dash and put a small hole in it.

No longer crack free.

$150.00 OBO plus shipping or local pickup.

I have also the under dash panels for it.

Nooooooooooooooooo!

DOH! I don't have a pressing need for a blue 126 dash and that one still hurt like hell.

(In best Andy Rooney voice) You know what I really hate is when I go and thoughtlessly destroy my ultra-rare-super-dooper-shiny-whizz-banger while attending to something new and completely unrelated when what I really should have been focusing on doing is properly securing said ultra-rare-super-dooper-shiny-whizz-banger in the first place. Especially when there isn't anyone nearby to blame it on.

In all seriousness, no longer a museum piece, it's still a great dash. Might want to offer a bottle of touch up paint if you have any. Would you have any 126 interior bits in Palomino? Looking for rear speaker grilles and B-pillar wrap.

Awww...

I'd kick myself if I did that. The dash is a steal now, though -- wish it were first-gen

I wish it was a w123 --- I'd be all over it ..... even if I "had" to paint it black.

I do believe there is a possibility that you can cut out the cross brace from a donor.and adapt a glove box in it. The dash is basically the same as Gen 1 with minor trim updates and of course airbag.

I got a black w123 dash with two issues I tried to fix with a vinyl kit. Perfect to be redyed or just use as is. Or nearly uncracked 240d dash with a small crack inside one of the defroster vent for somewhat big bucks.

Post a pic of the dash after your modification. How bad is this damage?

I don't plan on modifying this dash.... Only if the new owner wants me to.

What is involved in converting it to first-gen?
