WOW. This is good testimony. I am glad it works out well as your unit was shipped to Canada and I do not know how Canadian Custom would handle my gadget.

Thank you.

Better yet, I bought a BMW instead
and it already has a keyless remote system installed stock.
And it's a 91.

I do not realize there is a Peachpart Wiki on w124. My kit is in NO way as complicated as the Wiki here. PM me for my installation instructions and you can decide.

Just a quick note that I purchased and installed one of ah-kay's keyless entry solutions for a 1987 300td and it installed easily and works great. Hard to get under the rear carpet but once that's done you're off to the races...

Thanks for the feedback.

Taking orders, need some golf money.

I can send you the installation manual before purchase to make sure you are comfortable with the install. Just PM me with email address.

Installed the unit in my 300SDL and it works properly. Easy install. I tied the unit down to the vacuum pump...too many cables. Nice to have a remote especially if the looks are already worn.... my car has 350K miles.
Bob is a nice person to deal with. Well I will see how long the button unit will last with my bunch of keys. Is it replaceable?
Best, Martin

Thanks for the testimony. The remote are quite well made and robust. You have 2 remotes, don't you? So it will last for a while. I have them in my first 300SDL for 5 years now, battery is still good.

I purchased a W124 keyless remote from Bob a few months ago to install it in my 90 300D. The installation instructions are very simple with clear pictures and Bob was always available via phone or e-mail for any questions or support.

I had a challenge with my factory alarm not disarming when using the remote. Bob was absolutely great in assisting me diagnosis the problem and offered numerous tests to assist in resolving the issue. Bob continued to investigate and provide support and offered to return my payment if it did not work.

Bob was able to solve the problem with lots of patience and knowledge. The remote works great and Bob stands behind the product.

Hello guys,

I installed one of these in my 87 SDL last week, but i can`t get it to work...

It all seems to be wired correctly, and i even hear the pump pushing air when i press the remote buttons, but nothing happens, the doors won`t lock or unlock, neither is the fuel door.

What did i do wrong, or, what is messed up, please ?

Where did you buy it from? All my units are guaranteed to work or your money back. My units are customed to work with MBZ W124 or W126 chassis.
