WTB: 717.400 getrag 5 speed for w123

Any leads on one of these? Just need the transmission and correct shifter for the w123. Let me know what you have. Any location is fine. South Florida through the mid atlantic would be ideal.

For europe, Poland works great (mowie po polsku).

PM me

Thank you

FYI - It is such a rare transmission, the last two on ebay sold for at least $2,300.00.

Supposedly the 165 transmission from the E30 BMW's with a modified bell housing has been done.

I am totally aware of the rarity, although they are around... Not completely uncommon to see them in the Polish wrecking yards (a shame for sure). I'm hoping I'll find one with the use of my second language. In fact, I just missed a complete 5 speed car for around $1000USD - shipping would be killer.

If anyone has any leads please let me know, I'll do the same if I find anything over in Poland.

My car is an original euro 4 speed so I already have the flywheel, main parts would be the shifter/rods, trans and ideally the driveshaft.

Thanks

I have one

.

I have one
taken from good working w123 300D over here.

I had plans to swap mine auto (and still do kind of....)
but for correct amount...It can be yours

as I'm in europe shipping is a killer to US : approx 600$ and to Poland 230 Euro transmission only.

I have

- 5 speed manual transmission GETRAG 717.400
- pedal assembly for W123
- gear lever assembly 5 spd

but I can also find flywheel and clutch from 300D om617
if needed.

PM me if interested
.

Its not a common transmission, even in Poland (or any part of the world, really)... but prices are not in the $2k range either.

I found one once at the Pick-N-Pull. It was my best find ever! I sold it, though.
