WTB; 83 240D trans 716.2 part

Looking for someone who might have a worn out aluminum case 4 speed basically used as found in the late 1982 and all 1983 240D from which they are pulling and selling parts. Probably hard to find, but I thought I would check before I talk to the Dealer. The part is the back or end piece of the transmission, easily identified because it has the two "eyes" cast into or with it, that the exhaust bracket mounts to. You can see it here, part #5 on this page.

i will look at the tranny out of my 83 240d .. it was skipping 2nd so i replaced it with a 81 tranny . .

im guessing this is not the same ?
it has 2 things but they appear to be threaded and have the exhaust bar attached ...

I think it is the correct transmission --- the 2 mounts that hold the exhaust crosspiece would look like eyes cast into the rear of the transmission if you removed that crosspiece.

page 5 of the OP link just shows the REAR piece that he needs.

yea i though it the link it looked like fairly large dia 2 rings ... where these are more just threaded holes ,
