Gus, my friend who rebuilds injection pumps, is in need of a cyl head to replace the #14 cracked in his newly acquired wagon. I will forward whatever might be available to him, he said he was inclined towards a new head (as in dealer order) but I suggested he consider a used ser# 18 or 22 with angled injectors, even off a 350 so, whats out there?

I have a good #14. If hes willing to put a deposit I'll have it cleaned and pressure tested on my dime and if it comes back with any problems he can have the deposit back. $600

My 1987 300TD wagon was sold and my 2003 W210 E320 wagon was totaled (sheds tear).

I thought I would put some closure on this thread, Gus bought a new head and sent it to Metric Motors along with his short block. They did a beautiful job of rebuilding the engine, it almost looks like a factory crate engine
