Parting rustfree texas 300TD rolling chassis

This is the wagon formerly known as Marlene that I bought from
RLeo near Dallas. I had planned to resurrect her and drive her but my indie was not able to sort the HVAC or the leveling suspension as I had believed they would.

I then decided to take the excellently running engine and tranny out and install in my 39 Studebaker Coupe Express truck.

I drove her several times and all the major components worked flawlessly including the diff and brakes. It has sat for over a year though and is not now drivable.

I will list the bad first:
1. hvac blows but the controls do not work. Blows on one speed IIRC.
2. Leveling suspension individual components seem to work, we installed the good used suspension globes that Randy supplied and the pump seems to pump but the rear still sags.
3. Faded paint on the hood and roof, clear coat has peeled off. Paint on sides of car looks very good.
4. Some minor dings and so forth and one significant dent at the left rear tail light. Can be straightened with some bondo I believe.
5. headliner torn in a couple or three places including on the sunroof.
6. I am taking the front leather seats out for my 240d project car.
7. Front end is at minimum mal adjusted. The car does not feel correctly going down the road, but part of that may be the sagging rear. It at minimum needs an alignment and may need some components as well.
8. Carpets are rough and stained.
9. Engine, transmission, radiator, pedal cluster and shifter are (or will be) gone from car.
10. the doors shut hard. May need new rubber in the latch or adjusting.

Now the good:
1. Completely rust free pretty straight except for a tiny bit of surface rust where the taillight has been bashed in. Solid jack points and floor.
2. Leather back seat reasonably good, looks like a bit low on stuffing.
3. Excellent bumpers and grill.
4. Good solid exhaust system.
5. Pretty decent dash pad. (small cracks).

6. Purchase price includes Texas Plates. ( I couldn't decide to include this on the plusses or minuses, I believe it may depend on the buyer)

I'm going to price it as if it is parted out to the extent mentioned but if someone wants it all I will do a package price.

Shell with the below listed things removed:
1. shell $1,000.
2. nearly new low miles Michelin Hydroedge tires: $250
3. 240D aluminum wheels: $150
4. Decent ivory wheel covers with correct clips for the aluminum wheels $80
5. Roof cross bars: $250
6. Euro lights: $200
7. Wagon tail lights: $35 ea.
8. Wagon bumper with back up lights: $150
9. Frame mount trailer hitch: $125. (This is a frame mount hitch. It does not touch the bumper. It is rated at 2500# Gross and 200# tongue. Appears to be a DALAN brand.) The hitch bolts to the three shock bolts between the shock and the frame, then has a brace on each side that goes forward and bolts to two captured nuts in the bottom of the tube which carrys the shock impact loading forward to the axle area. These bolt holes appear to have been put in at the factory for this purpose.
10. Good used exhaust system $75.

The front seats and the floor shifter do not come with the car.

This is the perfect body swap car for someone with a well cared for northern car that is slowly dying of cancer.

Delivery can be arranged.

I have the car listed in cars for sale too with 27 pictures.

Hi Mike, the taillights are good used condition. Are you interested in the lightweight aluminum wheels plus hubcaps? Tires too?

Sorry, just noticed this post. Feel free to pm or email me.

I just offered this rolling shell to a local fellow for $500 including bundts with a couple of usable tires on them (and two not usable on the road but holding air), vinyl seats in not perfect condition and us spec headlights.

Not including the hitch or the cross bars for the rack.

I took a deposit on it yesterday. I'll still have the euro headlights, cross bars, tail lights and hitch.

Could I see the tail lights and the hitch?
Will the hitch work on a euro wagon?
Thanks
