WTB: euro W123 300D intake manifold
I need to buy an intake manifold from a sept. 82-85 built euro 300D. It needs to be part number 617 141 07 01 or 617 140 07 01. I can pick it up if your in the DC/VA/MD area. I need one soon so I can put my exhaust system back together.

What's special about the Euro intake manifold v. the US one? EGR?

Not sure the difference: I have seen euro models with a tubro and NA, egr and non.
I DO have a pair of manifolds from a 1984 euro Naturally Aspirated (non-turbo) 300D sedan with no egr! PM if interested

FYI, as far as I can tell the '617 140 07 01' part number is a silent substitution for the original 617 141 07 01, which is also a non-EGR manifold. My '83 came with the 141 part, and that's probably what you'll be able to find used.

And I'm still looking for one of those intake manifolds myself, in case NCFriend has an extra...

You should post a picture of the intake--its the long runner horizontal one that sticks out at a right angle/ with the opening at the top of the plenum.

I may have this. I have a 1985 parts car that I believe is a euro. I will check friday and compare part numbers and let you know.

I do indeed have the intake manifold. Part number is 141. It is still on the car. I will post pictures tomorrow. I am also going to be parting out the 1985 Euro 300d that it came off of if you are needing any additional parts. Thanks.

I'd like to be second in line for the manifold. What colour and type is the interior on the car? Does it have the original radio with 'LMKU' buttons?

Haven't heard back from the original poster yet. The interior is navy MB tex. It does not have the original radio, just some cheap aftermarket cd player.
