Anyone have the following parts 78-85 W123, Trade?
I really need the two chrome ( aluminum ) strips that are on either side of the rear window and fit into the rear window seal. I would like mint ( that is no dents or bends ), pieces if possible, and would be willing to make a fair trade ( maybe a 56k modem, software, something ), or pay a fair price.

I got them, you know what I do need a modem, that is so weird, must be fate or something, but tell me the details on it, what slot? Manufacturer? Drivers available? I'll check out those chrome aluminum strips this weekend and let you know the condition

I've actually got a brand new, in the box 3Com US Robotics, external, 56k Fax/Modem. Never been used.
Where in VA are you? I'm actaully in Southern West Virginia, so, we may be able to just meet somewhere if you are interested. Cheers, and thanks for the reply. Jeffrey

I go to school in Blacksburg, but the car is up in Northern VA I am going back this weekend so we could probably meet down here, I'll let you know when I have the parts

Thanks Grey, sounds fine. You have to be very careful in removing the trim as it bends VERY easily. It is actaully easier to cut the rear window seal around the trim with a razor, to remove the pieces.

I live in Beckley, WV, work in Charleston. I'm about an hour from the VA border on I64. I like the drive up your way, so, we could maybe meet half-way or something. We'll work it out! I appreciate your carefulness in removing the items. Pictures would be great, and I really would like as close to "mint" as possible parts.
