I took the shell of this 1978 300D in on trade yesterday; floors are shot.

Exterior is that grey, silver, anthratic color.
Interior is blue; driver's door map pocket is available. Driver's door panel no good; others are.
Front fenders
Hood
Grill
Front bumper is great.
Rear bumper appears good, but I need to pull trailer away from the fence to get a better look.
I have the instrument cluster, but need to keep it for a few.

Trunk lid is NO good; latch wouldn't release; had some rust in it. I bashed in the driver's tail light and reached in......still couldn't get the thing to release all the way. Crowbar worked!!!
Trailer hitch is off and waiting for a buyer.
Fuel tank is out and waiting for a buyer.
I pulled the antenna; will check it to see if it works.
And I found another steel wheel in the trunk.

How is the driver side front fender? What about a hood hinge?

Instrument cluster work? It'd be awesome if it didn't, I like to try to repair them and keep them as spares.

Looks almost perfect --- looks like it might have a thumb print in the area behind the wheel well. See pic.


I need to keep it for a while to be sure the guy finishing the swap doesn't need it for the guy who bought my 1981 300D NA.
