Thumbs up

If I drove my 300SEL more, I would probably pick this up for at least the pedal box (unless a 240D's fits) as the car would transform with an OD and no silly second gear start 722.3

Hit Man:

This is for you! A 126 pedal set is not to be found in the US. I contacted benzguy to supply me with some additional pictures of the pedals as an aide in making a clutch pedal for my use. Does this sound like a bump for benzguy? It is, and shameless too!

benzguy could make two packages out of these parts; first, the pedal set, shifter and shift rods, the floor crossmember, and driveshaft, all parts for the 126 chassis, And second, the trans, flywheel, and clutch parts, which will bolt to any inline engine from about 1968 thru 1985 with the starter on the right side, both gas and diesel, 4, 5, and 6 cylinder. Each of these parts groups should go for $450-500. $650 for everything is one helluva deal!!

See the trans would be nice if my '79 280S was not stolen in first quarter '13 and the pedal box to make the 300SEL a five speed. I drive an E23 735i often that is a factory five speed, so the drive is fun at times.

Oh well, great deal
