What's the story with the 116 calipers and rotors? Are these an upgrade for the W123? Sorry, a little naive with the brakes in the 123.

BUMP! To reiterate, the W116 calipers and rotors bolt on to a W123 without requiring larger wheels. The reason for the change is to get slotted rotors for better heat dissipation and less change of warpage. Stock W123 pads are the same as the W116 pads.
