Wanted: Wheel Spacers
My friend has a 1991 W126 350SDL with 1990s CLK wheels. He needs wheel spacers between 5-15mm so he can put the center caps on (grease caps stick out too far, and wheels are a different offset than stock).
I think 10mm spacers would be ideal. 5mm spacers would allow the center caps to go on. 15mm spacers would put the wheel offset back to factory specs, but the wheels might stick out too far on each side. Does anyone have a set they would be willing to sell? The prices of new ones on eBay is making his mouth drop.

Have a look at the ones sold on Amazon by Direct Buy Tire. I just bought a set of 15mm spacers for mine, and they were $30 a pair. They're nicely-machined aluminum and seem very well-made. They've got just about every thickness you could think of on there.
Here's the ones that I got: click |

Thanks for the advice! Those are slightly cheaper than other new ones I have seen online. I can't believe no one has used ones for sale, but maybe it's one of those things people hold close to, or tend to stay with the wheels.
