I saved a 1979 300d from the crusher. It has beautiful green interior that i dare say is near mint. Even the drivers seat is not sagging or ruined with regard to padding. I say this as someone who has had many w123's in varying conditions. The car has rotted out floors and imo is not worth saving. if someone wants the entire car let me know but as it stands I am parting it out. The guys I bought it from took the engine out(that was running fine) to swap a 350 Chevrolet into it. . disgusting.

Basically everything is on the table with this car with the exception of the dash/steering wheel, and climate control. Even though in the pictures the carpet is out, its practically perfect. . . not kidding

I am torn on the Euro bumpers so if those are desired make a good offer and I might not want them for myself so badly

I will take the rubber end pieces from the front Euro Bumper. They go under the metal brace which goes on each fender and with rubber flap. I have the metal pieces. I need the rubber pieces. Plus, is there something unique about the "nut" on the metal piece which goes thru the fender?

I am royally PO'd ! I just spent a small fortune on an interior and I really wanted a GREEN interior. WTH !

I got the chromed wrap around 3-piece Euro, so I am thinking those ends could be different. Not sure from the snappies.

hmm yes sounds like it may be different. Check because I really don't want to separate the bumper from the ends. If I do sell the Euro bumpers id prefer to sell as a complete unit.

Poop. I think they are different. My wife completely shot down the idea of a GREEN interior. It is my car, however ... lol

haha very true, most dont understand my love of these cars or the green interior. If it worked with my blue 78, this green interior from the 79 would be in there instead of the 80s stuff thats in now

This green interior is a bit different than my wagon, but my driver is so torn up that I would like to get your front seat skins.
I'd take the whole seats if reasonable and we can arrange pickup; any chance you travel north closer to me?

Would like the cloth covered ruber trim to the front doors body seals as well.
And the cord trim along both sides of the B-pillars.

How much for the carpet set, mine is trashed, to include the side pieces that haven't been removed yet?

Save me any little "picnic table" shaped screw covers from off the under dash kickplates.

Also the exterior trim along the bottom of the driver's door and maybe the antenna as a spare. Mine is in the same location.

Whats your thinking on price for the antenna and instrument cluster? Not sure what type radio it has in it...

No worries, I am patient on spending more money for car parts
Same with pickup if we can meet in the middle sometime. If not, then I will find a time to come pickup the seats and other parts to save on shipping.

For the antenna, it would just be a spare so Cooljay is welcome to it.
Not to take your business, but if Cooljay needs a 3.46 euro differential matched speedo from later years, I have a spare one out of a 1984 euro wagon.

I zoomed in on the picture. Looks like a period aftermarket Motorola.

No dash, eh? Might have had a passing interest in the black dash trim.


Anyhow, I may be interested in some or all of the following, depending on condition and price with shipping to zip code 01604:

• The rubber/chrome under-taillight trim strips (left and right) pictured above (I always preferred those to the ones on a 240D).
• Passenger side exterior mirror (How does the chrome and glass look on that one? How well does the adjuster mechanism work?
• All four window crank handles
• The two diagonal bars bolted to the radiator support that hold the electric fan.
• How's the chrome on the exterior door handles? What condition is the locking system in?

Do you know if the mast can be replaced or is it art of the antenna? Since I am debating on putting a radio in my euro, would be nice to have a euro antenna...

Hmmm is it in KM? I was thinking it may be neat to have a KM one...maybe I should get that one though, as I replaced mine with a us non turbo one...after the federalized 85mph was put in.
