I need to get one of the guys here to tell me how the 3d scanner works and then build a model with the makerbot. Once we have the object we can get these guys to print them Stainless Steel 3D Printing Material Information - Shapeways

For that matter I wonder if they can just print me a whole steel key, head and all????

I am surprised no one stepped in to take over when the original supplier dropped out of sight.

It's a hell of a good idea, but things went way off the pavement on the first try.

Not just a good idea, the product is awesome. Do you not worry that steel might be too heavy? The aluminum is exzellent.

the wagon i just bought has a solid metal (welded) key head that is cool as crap but very heavy
