WTB: W126/R107 15-slot wheels in great shape+

Hello All,

My 1990 300sel's original 15-slot aluminum silver wheels are oxidized and in need of refinishing...

I am seeing if anybody has an extra set that they'd be open to sell, instead of me investing into refinishing my set. (less hassle for me)..

These are the typical standard 15-slot wheels that came on W126's from approx 1986-1991; (and also late R107's).. Prefer standard painted finish but not against Chrome.

Anybody have a good set?

Thanks so much!

-Miles

Those came in 6.5" and 7" wide versions. Yours should be 6.5".

Miles:

As the above post by Suped. illustrates, you are as likely as not to find that the ready to go wheels are at some distance, and that the shipping cost will be prohibitive (20-25 lb./wheel plus packaging).

May I suggest that you search from say, Salem to Castle Rock, for a set needing refinishing, and have them restored locally. That way your car is not sidelined.

I think Gear_head has a set that he recently refinished. Maybe send him a PM?
