Here is the story, I bought the car needing an engine. I put the replacement engine in and drove the car, off the line the car could spin the tires under hard throttle. Driving easy it would shift gear to gear, no problem. But when you accelerated hard and held it you would loose the gear after a shift and about 10-15 seconds. I was told that the car was towed when the motor was lost with a regular tow truck for an extended period of time. Mechanics told me that the transmission most likely lost the pump, and that a pump change might be all it needs. The car only had approx 95kmi. on it, orig. fluid did not look bad, the car lost the motor due to hitting something in the road which struck the oil pan. I no longer have the car, and no longer need this transmission. $100 gets it. I believe it fits several other years and models, such as C230. I'm in Queens,NY.
