FS: injector pop tester, a real man's tool
SOLD. Read no further to prevent kicking yourself.
Anybody want this thing!? It's a FOR REAL heavy duty pop tester, hand crank.. Knobs to hold and release pressure. I hooked up a hard line from the car to this... and tested and set all of my injectors to it.. and did a great job if I must say so myself. It has a brand name on it... I'll look at it when I get home and say what it is. They just don't make them like this any more. Too much metal. Has built in reservoir and intake filter to hold SAE spec injector test fluid, or if you're like me... to dump diesel into for testing. Only issue is this thing is HEAVY. So shipping is the real cost. But it's a real tool. I'll charge $25 for it, on top of shipping cost. I'll weigh the thing too.

Guess I should ask how heavy is it and how large. I'll see what shipping is available. I've never had anything shipped across the border. Any tips?

Pix attached
It weighs 28 lbs plus a couple for packing, so say 30. You can see how i just attached a hard line from the car to adapt for our injectors. I will throw thise lines in with the tester. It also comes with one U shaped line, but this one does NOT adapt to our injectors. YOu can see it in photo 1. I originally said fluid filled gauge... Must have dreamed that... Its not fluid filled. Close up of it shows scale. The red cap is the filler port. There is a small fuel filter inside the tank that can be replaced, but seems in good shape. The label is yellow due to fuel spills, and will clean right up with a rub... I started to do that but maybe you prefer the antique effect and evidence of years of good service. The label has the instructions of what to do right on it! Its a Kent Moore brand.

Well, I'm going to be gracious and let The Don have it. The shipping to Baton Rouge put it well above the price I am willing to pay. It really looks like a great tool though!!
Good luck.

No takers yet, the beast is going to cost about $75 shipping.
Making this pop tester yours for $100 total. Not a bad deal if you need one. Sure beats the hell out of trying to make your own out of a hydraulic cylinder or whatever... and obviously this one is meant to last forever just like those vintage Benz's were ... a good match
