Thank you!

Steve, I just want to say thank you for undertaking this... I got a pair of your green ones installed this week, and it's a big improvement over my old incandescent bulbs! I've been intending to do this myself for years, but you made it easy Also, good job communicating and being responsive to my questions.

Kurt

Hi Kurt, glad you like them. The green really makes a difference in contrast and legibility. Enjoy!

I have more if anyone wants to give these a try.

I took some current measurements of the incandescent bulb vs green LED. LED draws 4 x less!

240 milli amps incandescent

50 milli amps LED

The average LED is rated for 100,000 hours before failure too. Many in industry use a 60k hour figure due to lumen drop off after use.

60k hours is 2500 days

Incandescent ?? How long do your house hold ones last ?

WOW, what a difference is all I can say. Just had my first nighttime driving experience after installing these and who knew we could check our gauges after dark...

I installed them (green led dash lights) a couple weeks back but drove at night for the first time tonight. WOW! Love the green contrast and it's ease on the eyes. Best interior lighting improvement I've done.

I would like to convert the center consul bulbs (all control buttons and shifter etc). Someone please email me a guide or more info. IF you have already converted some for sale, I would be interested in ordering also.

thanks

I drove with version 1.0 white LED's and I love it.
Converting all the other lighting would complete the look but I don't think the led's will fit in the small sockets for the buttons etc.
Hope I'm wrong.

I'll see what I can come up with. The climate control panel and rotary temp dial incandescent bulbs that melt the plastics are good candidates to convert to LED.

I have green cluster illumination LED's for anyone that would like a set. They really make a difference in contrast/ legibility. You can even see them in daylight.
