Exclamation 96-00 Mercedes Steering wheel for sale!

I have a used leather wrapped steering wheel that came from a 96-00 C Class W202. It is a black wheel, to match a black interior. It will not match the dark grey interior.
The steering wheel itself is in good condition, working and aesthetically. The leather has a small but very minor dent in it at the bottom of the wheel however. I did clean it up and it looks almost good as new.

Does not include an airbag. I am pretty sure it will fit most other late model Mercedes also. Check back with me and I'll get you the part number.

Make me an offer.

The leather on my wheel is just JUNK! It's all deteriorated! I have black electrical tape covering most of the wheel... been there for about 6 months now... kind of getting sick of it!!

I bought the wrong one... wrong color... and wrong model year (94-95 is different).

Any chance you could post a photo of it? I'd like to see if the airbag I have will fit. Some of the wheels & airbags are interchangeable, such as 124/140/210...

I would not count on it fitting an older model... but here is a pic I was able to get...

This is not my exact picture, but wheel is the same.

Hmmm, I think it might work. Do you have the part number so I can confirm? What rough price range were you thinking?

Thanks,

Yes, I got weird part numbers from it?

On the inside of the wheel the number is:

10 552
400

And on the back of it says: 50 7294.

Couldn't find an XXX-XXX-XX-XX number however.

I am thinking something like $90.

Interior Color Code

David,

Two things, you mention the 96 and newer differ from the 94/95, I see yours is a 95, mine also. Can you tell me what differs?

I am in need of a dark grey interior code 9B50 is the number for my steering wheel. The number for mine is part number is 140 460 47 03 9B50, were did you find yours or this thought to be replacement?

Thanks
Nikki

The whole attachment is different. If I had put it on, the horn would be on NON STOP! The wiring harness is different.

This is a FYI.

In 1992 MB changed the steering wheels and splines. Up to 1999 all the wheels are interchangeable.

To install a newer wheel on a older benz, you would first need to remove your old horn/airbag contact ring and install it on the new wheel. Thats about it.

I put a 1999 CLK55 wheel on my 1992 190E. Everything works perfect, as the internals/splines of the wheels are identical.

2phast,

Wow, that is beautiful. Where did you find the wheel & airbag, and how much did it cost?

Thanks!
