Picked up a 1980 300d locally this morning. Has a very clean palomino interior and great running N/A OM617. Car only has 174k miles but unfortunately is rusting away underneath. Don't plan on holding on to this one very long so if you need something please don't delay. Still trying to figure out how to post pictures but can email them in the meantime. Thanks guys

If you part out the trans, I have a request for a part which is really odd.

There are 2 dogears on the trans. As reference, it's the part which holds the rubber bushings for the exhaust pipe bracket. I just need the dogears and some of the surrounding aluminum of the tranny case. Obvsiouly, busting these 2 out will destroy the prospect of selling the tranny whole.

Before you get .12/pound for "dirty aluminum", I would be interested in those 2 dog ears and surrounding aluminum, roughtly 2" surrounding.

Bump. Still a lot left of this car. Am trying to clean up the yard with spring coming so speak now because she is going to scrap real soon.
