I have for sale a complete Gen. II-616/ 617 Sanden style A/C Compressor Mounting Kit, manufactured by forum member Rollguy. With this kit, you can retrofit an R134a Sanden compressor to an OM616 or OM617 engine. I bought this kit in late fall of 2014 so I could install it on my 1984 300D this winter before the weather got hot again. Alas, the clearcoat started to fail and that was the last straw; I didn't want to invest more time and money in the car. I've bought a W210 with working AC and don't need this kit anymore, so I'm selling it for $400 obo (2/3 of the cost new), plus shipping. I'm also including the expansion valve, pressure switches, and o-rings - everything you need for a complete install except refrigerant and oil. The compressor is still sealed, and everything is brand new (well ok, it's a few months old, but has not been used). I can accept Paypal. Please PM me if you want to know more.
