Need it for a 1982 300SD, although I just found one on eBay for $50 shipped. Removal looks like a real PITA so it might not be worth it to you.
I do need a few other W126 parts though. Looking for "brazil" (chocolate brown) visors if your interior happens to be this apparently super rare color, and plastic clips for holding the hood release cable in place.

Honestly, just as you stated, for the price, your going to be about even on the hub sorry to say. I would still be happy to fill your needs if you wish, I was going to quote you $35 for one and shipping would run it up right there with the competing part. Sadly my SD interior is Palomino as many were. I suppose they could be dyed. If you want visors to "test" that theory, I'll will box them up and sent to your door (pending they are in good condition) for $25 inc. shipping. As for the cable clips, if they are intact and can remove them successfully $10 inc. shipping or free if I toss them in with something else

I could use a driver door latch, if it's in good shape (i.e. the door closes without being slammed full force) and maybe a stereo if you have anything newer than the factory Becker unit. Preferably something with 3.5mm aux jack.

The doors on this one open/close pretty well, no slamming req. on them. So you need the "pawl" part of the door in the jamb/sil area of the drivers door right? Just want to make sure were talking the same part.

The only thing I have stereo-wise would be the original Becker or newer Becker unit from a W124. I don't have anything aftermarket on hand.

If you've still got it.. looking for a driver's side hood latch for a 300SD. EPC reports that any of the first gen 126s should be worthy candidates..

Any way I can get the vin, or part number on the passengers rear knuckle assembly for the 89 E300? There was a year split in 89. If its later in the year then most of the rear axle suspension needs to be changed out with the updated knuckle. I need the knuckle but I would prefer not to have to update everything so I am looking for one of the older ones.
