WTB: Zenith INAT Dashpot
Hi fellow Benzites,
I've come to find out that my throttle dashpot on my 1967 230S Fintail has died. It is the older type WITHOUT the big spring around the shaft. My car has a pair of Zenith's but I believe they might've used these on the older Solex cars as well. The function of these is to bump open the throttle a hair when the cars are put into Drive or Reverse so you can set the idle speed a bit lower in Park. They have a vacuum attachment on the backside. They look like the thing in this picture under the rear carb's fuel line fitting: image Not exactly the most necessary thing in the world but a nice tuning item nonetheless. Regards,

I have 35/40 rebuild kits but do not know if they include dashpot diaphragms. You might also ask JBM Industries, he makes a lot of carb rubber parts.
