I have four chrome "window" (that is what I have heard them called) wheels, only two of them without chrome missing. They are on an '87 W126.

Forced to move or sell

I got a notice from the city that I must remove all the cars from the property. I am now forced to either move the cars somewhere else, or sell them all at once. I have about 14 parts/project cars that will need to go. All but two are 123s, and all Diesel (or were: engines removed). There is one W126 300SDL (used to belong to Ray Ramano of "Everybody Loves Raymond "), and one 300CE (I have a 2.5 Turbo engine I was going to swap in, along with a complete wire harness for the Diesel). I have one complete low mileage (wrecked but repairable) 300CD, and another repairable CD without an engine and trans. I have one '85 300D with slight front end damage, with a decent blue interior. The rest are parts cars. These all are rust free (for the most part) CA cars. I will entertain any reasonable offer for all or part. I have another 20 days or so to comply, so time is of the essence.....Rich

That's too bad. Just when you have things going well along comes the government to throw a wrench on the works.
Their not happy till you're not happy!

The only solution is tall fencing.

I'm zoned agricultural, we're out in the country, and I still have neighbors call me in for not mowing the grass from time to time.

I have the tallest fence allowed (6'), and all the cars are behind it. The violation specifically stated "Inoperable cars in rear yard". There are 12 cars back there, and all are what the city defines as "inoperable".

That is a good question, one I don't have an answer for.
