Hi Sixto,
Are these headlights still available? My originals are pretty beat, and I'd sure appreciate shedding more light. Do these Euros cast more lumens?

Threadjack: And on another subject close to your heart. VCVs. I have an 87 300TDT with 352K. Years ago you helped me big-time when it "died" and you walked me through a side-of-the-road compression test that showed all 6 cyl's holding compression. It only needed a head gasket on the #20 head. Anyway, now I'm wanting to fix my hard 1-2 shift and looking at the VCV which has well over 100k, probably more like 300+K miles. I've seen your VCV pictures of the "o" ring that was solid rubber foam... And assume mine is as good as that. Is that a safe assumption? or should I be testing (sounds like a stupid question)?

Also, I saw you got a NOS VCV. Is there something to look out for on the new replacement part?

Definitely better than 86-93 DOT headlights. It's the difference between a flashlight and a candle. The ad is gone and there's nothing else available as of this writing.

Tee in a vacuum gauge to see what's going on when it shifts. In my case, the hard 1-2 shift and stacked 2-3-4 shifts were facts of life. Even a spring kit didn't fix it completely. I might have a used VCV or two among my old parts but I have no way to know if they're good.

I'm not aware of anything special about NOS. It just seemed like a good deal compared to what they cost at the dealer.
