FS: USAF oil separator rolling centrifuge used to convert WMO into usable fuel. They were rolled off planes and connected to tanks, then rolled back on.
The two I have were made in 2005 then stored as back-up and forgotten about until the US left Iraq and redid the "strategy" in Afghanistan. The pics tell the story. I'm keeping one and selling the other. The acquisition value of these systems purchased from Northrop Grumman is approximately 28,000, I have been told. I need the space and want to avoid the duplication so I am selling this one for 1250.00 over the objections of partners in some of my enterprises. However, I have a special offer for someone. I have had no time to get the large Tech Manual from the Air Force or Northrop Grumman, so anyone who gets that for me in paper or .pdf can have the unit for 1000 and get free delivery if within 500 miles. I have put several photos of the unit below, it's about a five foot cube that fits easily in my one-ton box truck or on a trailer. Weight: approx 525 lbs. Let me know if this appeals to you or if you need more info.

How much juice does that thing need to run? 3-phase? I can probably get that manual in about 20 days ... but before I make a few calls, to what micron does it clean WMO? They claim our diesel is at or below 10 microns, but it's actually a lot cleaner. So, will it clean to micron or sub-micron level?

F0960398G0019 | F09603-98-G-0019 Procurement History | Defense Contracts | Contract Awards is the government contract. You can follow that trail, circa 1989-90 and most likely get the manual for free.

That's exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for, how did you find this? Pwogaman sent me a PM showing some guy who bought four of these for the amazing price of 131.00, although condition is unknown. If the price has escalated, why buy four if you only want one? Why buy four, condition unknown, if you only need one? In my case, the condition is known and I paid more for them, as part of a package deal. My cost is 620.00 plus 100.00 shipping. My plan was to make that up or at least break even on the one I sold, rather than take a loss. According to what I was able to read, the filtering is somewhere around 5 microns, still lloking for the ref

Hey, you were very generous to me by offering to help me in any way with my screwball project of the HPN system, and those damm spheres ... lol I always try to repay favors ...
Gov't auctions are fickle. I used to buy and sell stuff --- a lot -- years ago, eg late 80s and early 90s. Once, I bought an entire lot of SNAP ON wall mounted tool chests, glass doors, around 2' x 3", super robust peg board backing with tool hangers, with average retail back in the day of around $400 bucks a pop. It cost me $1 per key, and I needed 50 since I bought all 50. I paid a whopping $100 for all of them. I sold them foolishly for $50 bucks a pop when $50 bucks was a lot of money with a key from Snap on. So, my out of pockets were $3 bucks a unit and I sold all 50 in roughly 2 weeks. There was no internet back in the day, so I listed them in a local paper called "The Swapper" and by word of mouth. I would imagine if I hung onto them, I could sell them for $100 easy today ... I might get back into gov't auctions to finance my car habit. I really don't have the time or patience for some stuff any more, plus my lower back is not cooperating. I was lightly swapping parts but the return is low and risk is sort of high since you don't know if folks are ultimately happy or not. I try to have folks 100% happy. As for your units, they might sell as low as $100 to $200 bucks -- keep in mind scrap value. Also, good luck finding spare parts or replacement parts or consumables. That is why the real gov't auction nuts by a lot of this or that. If you bought 5 of those for under $1,000, you would need to process around 500 gallons of junk oil to make your money back. So, I guess having a familiarity with gov't auctions and a basic knowledge of COTS USGP (comm. off the shelf US gov't property) is helpful. It took me literally around 3 months to learn the ropes, supply classes, nuances, et cet., but once you learn the ropes, you can make some decent money. The real problems are storage and shipping solutions. You need a real log weenie .... lol |

Right now, you're nuts if you sell them. You should process WMO to make back all of your money, and then sell them if you wanted to. You can then market them as usable, and you could make a video on how to run them. Yes, I am now becoming a fanatic over videos ... I do a video with most of my injector rebuilds and I am going to figure out a way to video my engine rebuild, and other stuff I do. Right now my film crew is an 18 year young man who has little time for his Dad's nutty projects so that is slowing that process down. If you got a hair under $800 bucks invested, then process 500 gallons of junk oil and then market them. Having a known commodity is a lot better than not. Just my .02 cents. 500 gallons of usable fuel is a year's worth of free driving ...

Since I ran a small video production and editing operation for Chrysler for 5 years, I am very familiar with how to set and make vids that tell the story and tell the things that the non-professionals leave out, because the users are too close and "assume " that everyone understands what they do. SIDEBAR: I just went through that with a very experienced budget lady at a bank when I tried to reconcile monthly accounts and she ASSUMED I had the right limited access URL. Since this was my first time doing this and I had the credentials but not the access, it didn't work. " Oh they should have told you that." But they didn't lady, so can we cut to the chase ? I didn't call on a Friday afternoon on MY time to listen to your prattering about what the other people SHOULD have done. I have a life too. I'll make those vids when the time comes but they will be well-done. I do stuff like this for the VW Samba, where I am translating a 120 page German manual for them on the VW181, so yeah, I know it takes time and effort.

According to "TECHNICAL MANUAL METHODS & PROCEDURES AF TECHNICAL ORDER NUMBERING SYSTEM (ATOS)" that TO 33D7-49 is assigned to "Electronic Circuit Plug-In" which is on page 197 of 386 and there's little way that TO goes to Part # 001-006707-002. That is why ordering is tough with USGP ... makes little ryhme or reason ... lol

I'm working on getting it now. The system the USAF uses that stores TO's only lets you view the one's allotted to you. This seems like a thing that was used in back-shop. So, I'm going to try a back-shop guy.
