OVER 100 MERCEDES PARTS CARS FROM 1967-1999 1hr NW of Altlanta, Georgia

Near Atlanta, GA

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/pts/5552485598.html

It is my intention to go down there in 2 weeks, with no back seat installed in my car and plenty of space. Are there any members interested in submitting a parts request?

Check with Casey (w116.org) and I, as we might have the part on hand already.

I've been here twice, hoping to head back once more before he is gone. Great guy and great prices. I've gotten lots of parts, filled a Sprinter van twice. When are you hoping to go?

I have a couple of cube vans like this. I might take one down and get some parts too.

Anything special this guy has? or doesn't have?

where do you live? We may be able to meet down there. I'd like to know how easy/hard this guy is to deal with, and if he will give minimal help if I bought an engine and needed it pulled from the car.

If he is still there, which I am not certain of, he is incredibly helpful. He helped me pull an engine, I didn't have big enough wrenches for the AC lines so he grab his set and loosened them for me, he also has a crane on the back of a tractor to help get them out but I would highly recommend having an engine tilter and maybe a sawzall to get it out because it doesn't lift the engine high enough so my friend and I had to provide extra lift to get the engine over the crossmember. This would not have worked if the transmission was still attached and the engine was any heavier (it was a 3.0L M103). He then pulled a fuel rail for me as I was working on pulling a Euro bumper for my brother. His prices are great imo, I only paid $100 for the engine, $200 for the set of W116 euro bumpers, $100 for a set of ACM or ACR (can't quite remember) 16X8 rims (BBS knockoff that was made in Germany back in the 80s), and really not too much for other bits. I think over my two trips I paid $600 total, which is probably about what the set of bumpers is worth.
