Mercedes Benz C107 Rear Subframe

Selling a rear sub frame from a 1975 Mercedes Benz 280SLC in good shape, including rear brakes. $100 located north of Dallas TX (near Oklahoma). Too heavy to ship

Not sure about the complete assembly, but I believe the control arms are the same as r107 and w126 (both without the anti-squat setup only). I also believe the subframe is the same as the w114/115, w123, and maybe w126 too.

I thought some of the 107 cars had the aluminum subframe as my 84 500 SEC had...this one does not look aluminum to me.

The 107 has a steel sub frame like this. My R107 pats car and C107 are both like this.

Maybe both steel subframes, but r107 and c107 subframes are different.

The control arms for a 107 can be either steel (regular on all US 107s other than 5.6) or aluminum (anti-squat on 5.0 and 5.6 and some other high-torque drive trains like euro 4.5 and some euro 3.8, maybe 4.2 also).

I curse those that live without road salt / magnesium chloride and other oxygen absorption enhancers. Four year old salt belt car's don't look that good.

Fonzi I agree they are different. I have since looked at both and confirmed. I mean they are both steel.
