still have seat frame assembly?

atikovi,

I have an 87 sdl and may need a seat frame ( adjustment motors not working...). Is there a part number on yours?

I don't see any one part number for the seat frame, just on the motors. The name Burger is on the aluminum side piece.

any ideas how to check compatibility?

Atikovi,

Your 86 to my 87 is pretty close. Email me off line at:

chuck.schmidt@att.net

We can speculate on compatibility. Do you think a dealer would be willing to help on this? Let me know price and estimated shipping to NC.

Thanks!

Chuck

Do you have the plastic gear that the headrest goes into, the part the motor connects to.

The plastic gear that the headrest goes into is only a few dollars from the dealer. Don't even bother with a used one as the plastic gets brittle over time and a good used one is just going to crack soon.

Even if the right and left gear parts are mirror images of each other, the motors should swap if that's what the problem is.
