req source for 190d stick shift lever boot
Picked up my 1985 190d from the mechanic today after having him change the oil. Also having a engine shut-off problem and he says the vacuum diaphragm is shot and he wanted to know if he should order one.
I told him, "Of course. It has to be fixed." I also asked him to order a new stick shift boot cover because the old one is getting pretty torn and beat up. He said that he didn't think they were available anymore and suggested I try eBay. Nothing there. Neither at Pelican Parts, unless I missed it. Does anyone have a source for replacement manual transmission stick shift boots? Rubber for fake leather is fine. The existing one just needs to be replaced.

Not sure if it is the same but I ordered one of the rubber ones for a W123 earlier this year from pelican and they were still available.

The part number is 2012670497, it's about $10-$15 from the dealer.

Thanks disqo. Since the W201 part is still available, I'll try that first before trying a W123 part.
