motor is still available.
...just like I figured, I had umpteen emails about the motor the day after the auction was up. A couple of guys just sure they were gonna get it,, then mysteriously they couldn't come up with the money.  geee, what a surprise. Anyways, I still have it. It takes 3k to buy it. Don't offer me 2999, because you won't get it !

well, yet ANOTHER buyer backed out.
I even pulled the pan, verified the size of the stroke on video,,,,took some shots of the inside of the block..... Again the price is 3k plus freight. You'd think that out of 50 plus, MBZ owners who have sent numerous emails about this thing ,,,there'd be somone in the group who can afford it

I did get a call about a week ago about the motor. I think his name was Chris. He asked me about it, and I sent him three pics of it that evening, but I never heard back.

Alain- can you repost what comes with it, Model Year, the engine number and VIN# of the car it's from?
I believe you said it is complete with wiring harness, no computers, and a slight ding on one of the exhaust headers. Thanks, :-) neil

It's a early 95. I don't have the VIN from the car it came from because I never saw the car. The motor came from Tom (I'll have to dig up his last name) in New York who specializes in MBZ dismantling. I can get Tom's contact info for the buyer.
HE has a shop in New York & sell used pieces on ebay all the time too. Mst of the MBZ "hot rod" crowd knows him. You get a longblock assembly with the intake and exhaust manifolds (although one ex manifold has a small dent in it), no accessories.
