How about a rear window? The one on my '85 300D just exploded last night while driving down the road. I had the rear defroster on.... and then all of a sudden.... BANG!

That happened to me about a year ago. Luckily, I had just decreased the deductible on my comprehensive insurance. Would have been a thousand dollar job otherwise. Good time to replace the gasket. Be prepared to bondo some hidden rust holes under the gasket.

1. passenger trim piece, just before the rear tire
2. outside temp display
3. wood-like center console
4. set of wheels / and tires
5. antenna and the rubber base piece
6. front struts
7. passenger headlight glass and foglight
8. motor and tranny mounts if in good shape

If you still have, sunroof motor and all hardware except the roof.

That all I can think of right now.

Hi Rob,

I could use a new dome light (the one between the two visors).
I also wouldn't mind replacing the diagnostic plug...the one that when it's broken, makes the rpm gauge quit. (drivers side, fenderwell).
My rear floormats are also stained with what is possibly diesel oil..so if yours are in decent shape, I might be interested in those too.
I am sure I will think of three more things once I click "Submit"
