I mistakenly (it was describes as a W123 seat to me) bought a W124 seat spring and pad when I was looking for a W123 last year. I had to spring (ouch $$) for a new seat spring after the mechanic had it out and it wouldn't fit. Now I'm looking for a W126 spring and pad. Will trade if you have that in good condition, thanks.

I had the seat checked out at the local dealer. The Greenwich, CT dealer said the seat spring & pad should fit the W124 E class from the 80's to the early 90's. I would have used it myself if they fit.

I am interested but would like to confirm that the pad and seat spring are new.
