Wanted: Non Functioning W124 Seat Control Module
Looking for parts to rebuild my seat control. It works, just started to break the small floating post cover on the seat bottom control.
I don't want to spend $100 for a new one so I thought I would post here. Thanks in advance. Bryan

Yes, just really need the plastic sleeve, spring and brass pin
for the switch that is held in place over the switch arm by a metal clip. My sleeve was cracking. The switch works fine. I just noticed it was hanging by a thread of plastic. I am not sure I could use JB weld or something similar. I tried to glue it but it didn't work. I know of one MB recycler in Austin, but haven't had the time to go out there and look.

Don't have a spare, but have a suggestion if you can't find one. Autozone sells a plastic repair adhesive. It's like superglue with a small bottle of "activator" that you spread on the plastic before using the super glue. It works! I repaired it once and it held for a year until I wacked it with my briefcase. Second repair is holding fine!

I will try it. I am missing the spring and pin, not sure if they are really necessary I may try to put it back together without it. My little one got into the parts....

Seriously, it is the passenger side unit I am looking for. I hope your trip was great! I love traveling for pleasure! I just got back from a 4 day trip to Paradise Island, it was a last minute birthday celebration. I may be older but much more relaxed ! Saw one nice C43 on the island too!

I got a ride in a C55 AMG, it was awesome. I am going to get a C43 and convert it. =), it is really sporty.
Ill find the seat control this weekend.
