Checking to see if you have the engine still to your diesel. I believe it should
fit in my 300.

At this time I have no diesels that will fit a manual transmission...All I have are engines that will fit a automatic transmission...Sorry

Do you have non-rusty fenders for a '80 300D W123 - both of mine are too rusty to save. The aux water pump is also shot; as are the rear drum brakes - no emergency brakes.

Dear Mr. James Harris,

I recieved the speedometer cable last Friday and attempted to replace the one in the car. When I removed the end from the transmission, I noticed that the cable was different. The one you sent is "box/square" shaped. The cable has four sides. In contrast to the one that is currently on the car, it is shaped like a screwdriver --- "flat". Hence, you sent me the wrong cable. It was probably an honest mistake. Send me the correct cable and when I get it, I'll send back the one that you incorrectly sent me. Just as a reminder the car is a 79 240D automatic transmission.

Dear Mr. James Harris,

Have you had the time to get the right cable off the 240D yet? I am willing to send you the incorrect cable when I get the right one because I have NO USE for this cable. The cable is fine, it just won't fit my mom's car. I'd like to fix her speedometer problem before Christmas as a gift to her, so forgive me for being persistent.
