Wanted: 124 rearview mirror for my 1986 300E

I was trying to buy one from someone on this forum (I'll give that person another week or so to come through before I reveal his username). I sent the money but have not received the parts. I've been waiting for 6 weeks now.

For the most part members on this forum are honest, but it looks like I may have been scammed...I hope I'm wrong.

Is there anyone here kind enough to give me an extra one they might have lying around for free? The black plastic surrounding the rearview mirror is practically falling apart. I taped it together temporally, but it looks like cr@p. I'll pay for the shipping.

I have one from a 123 but I think its the same thing. PLastic is good, I have the mount but not the spring and pins. The glass is kinda blotchy, but nothings falling apart. You can have it if you want.

I may have one out of my 95 E320 if you want it--it is 100% perfect. I am buying the factory auto-dimming mirror and installing. However, I haven't done this yet and it might be early summer by the time this happens--so if you need one then email me.

Thanks for the offer. I definitely want the mirror. Mine is being held together with tape and glue (looks aweful). I am not in a rush, so I can wait until you buy your new mirror.
