I need a good replacement rocker panel molding panel (passenger rear door) for a W126 Body Mercedes (1983 model). Anybody got one in excellent condition? Thanks.

pull out the bottom a bit. there are a number of pin fasteners.
move aside the weather stripping thats at the door's inside rear lip. you will see an area of weather stripping that has a circle. behind that circle is a 7mm (maybe 8) nut. remove the nut, try to not let if fall in the door because you will then have to remove the inside door panel to retreive it. now pull the top section away from the door. you have a number of pin fasteners at the top also. I use a plastic chisel wedged between moulding and door.
NOTE: do not pry the top-side ends away, you will ruin the clips.
Now that you have all the pin fasteners loose and the nut is off the rear clip push the moulding forward until it stops... 3/8" inch? pull the top rear clip out then slide the moulding rearward the original 3/8" and then another 3/8" , all the while pulling slightly at the top front. The clip should come out of its slot.
You are home free now.
After you do the first one and see how it goes, you will find it is a piece of cake from then on..
