R&H Motorcars 4 parts

I like to support FASTLANE when I can, just bought a Baum tool and some parts.

Sometimes I need to hit my local dealer for parts. And I have had some very positive experiences at the R&H Motorcars in Owings Mills, MD. Parts Department.
They have extended hour during the week, up till 9:00 p.m. I can stop in and get parts, and a good inventory.

My service experience at R&H wasn't to my liking either, I had warranty repair done and had to take the car back numerous times to get things right. There are post I wrote at this forum and mb club of america forum about that. Finally after lots of complaining they set me up with a good tech and the shop forman oversaw things to keep me quiet. But I cringe when thinking about having service done there.

I basically do all my service myself, and when I did a steering knuckle replacement I was hitting the parts department in the evening often at R&H and buying parts at resonable prices.
My experience has been that Herb Gordon in Silver Spring has HIGH to VERY HIGH parts prices so when I started buying parts at R&H I was saving money.
At Towson Valley a few years back when I was buying parts they would give me the wrong piece for my application and I just wasn't willing to take that chance again, though I would imagine if I were more diligent in researching part #'s the issue probably wouldn't have occured.

That brings me to another issue, at Herb Gordon the parts department computers are distant from the parts counter and I wasn't able to view the diagrams with the parts person, but at R&H the parts guy would review diagrams with me and make sure I was getting the right parts and do the repair properly.

You may want to go to the www.mbca.org site and for the Greater Wash D.C section see what repair shops sponsor the local newsletter. A women at the gym i go to says she had taken her W210 to Star Motors in Towson and was happy with the service, u may want to research that shop.

I have had great experience at R&H - for 21 years. I do some of my SDL's work and use an indie to save money sometimes. The dealership may make mistakes, but, they are honest. If you have a problem, ask for JOHN.
