1998 ML320 silly question?
I have owned a total of 21 cars since I began driving. I usually would not have to ask such a simple question, where in God's name is the level dip stick for the automatic transmission, is there one?
Thanking you all in advance! Ciao. |

There is none. The tube is near the firewall on the pass side. It has a black
cap with either a black or red locking tab holding it on. You will need the special MB trans dipstick to check the fluid level like we use here at the dealership. If you swing by your local dealer, they should be nice and check the fluid level for you at n/c. That's what I do for folks. Dr.D |

Dip Stick
You Can Buy A Transmission Dip Stick (after Market On The Web) For About $37.00. That Way You Don't Have To Go To Your Friendly Mb Dealer And Put Up With Their Attitude.
